Authentic Japanese Cooking Workshop at UBC Farm
Local Japanese food expert Kimiko Suzuki is teaching how to make an authentic home cooked Japanese meal in this hands-on class. Learn about traditional “ichiju, sansai” meals, get introduced to all the ingredients you need for real Japanese home cooking, and prepare a delicious meal of three authentic dishes accompanied by steamed rice. Summer desserts should be simple, satisfying and fresh, so that kitchen time is kept to a minimum while producing satisfying desserts that you’ll want to make again and again.
