DESCRIPTION:The Société de dévelopement de la Colombie Britannique (SDECB) and UBC Farm – Centre for Sustainable Food Systems are proud to host their Canada 150 Celebration of the Senses event.\nCome and join us on Saturday\, September 16 from 12.00 p.m\nto discover the rich diversity of our region and culture through a series of activities. \nCOME\, LEARN\, TASTE and ENJOY! \nProgram of the day: \n12.00 p.m: Kick off of the event with the opening ceremony (music and introduction) \n1.00 p.m: A presentation of the UBC Farm’s Sustainable system: understand their unique concept. \n1.30 p.m: A culinary experience with Salmon n’ Bannock Bistro chef who will introduce you to the traditional indigenous cuisine!\n** Tickets to buy on-site **  \n1.30 p.m: Taste some of our BC wines\, supported by Liberty Wine Merchants Granville Island\n** Tickets to buy on-site **  \n3.30 p.m: The historian Jean Barman will give a talk about her book “French Canadians Furs\, and Indigenous women”.
