Westside Food Fest – Making Sauerkraut
Fermented vegetables have many health benefits, including live enzymes, readily available vitamins and minerals, and probiotics -and sauerkraut/other fermented vegetables are suitable for all (vegetarian, vegan, Paleo, gluten free). Bring a wide-mouth 500ml mason jar, cutting board, large knife, and large bowl (optional). Participants will go home w/a jar of customized sauerkraut to ferment at home.
